Amy Anderson, 54, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away on November 16th, 2021 at 0615 am.
Amy was born on October 6th 1967 to Beverly Jane Hartloff and William Lee Harris in West Memphis, Arkansas. After graduating from Hughes High School, Hughes Arkansas in 1987 she went on to study Music Education at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree.
After graduation, she worked in various locations throughout her life teaching all ages from grade-school to young adults.
Amy had a life-long love for animals of all kinds.
In 2000, she met Randy Anderson and they wed on December 23, 2001 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Amy is preceded in death by her parents and beloved pets Mauler, Kiki and Max.
She is survived by her loving husband, Randy Anderson; her son, Benjamin Joseph Scaccia; her seven siblings, Vickie (Johnnie) Nelson, William (Pam) Harris Jr., Kimberly (Rusty) Burnett, Gregory Scott (Angela) Harris, Rickey Barkley, Michael (Robert) Barkley, Travis Gene (Roxy) Barkley; numerous nieces and nephews and her faithful loving pets Nola and Rascal.
Visitation for Amy will be held from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Monday November 22, 2021 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 Main Street, Greenwood, Indiana, 46142. A Celebration of Amy's life will begin at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Greenwood, Indiana.
Pallbearers will be Gregory Scott Harris, Ricky Barkley, Michael Barkley, Gene Barkley, Rusty Burnett, Duane Anderson, Terrance Bailey (Honorary) and Robert Morrall (Honorary).
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to your local Humane Society, local animal shelter or local Chihuahua rescue.
