MOSLEY, Mrs. Amelia – age 86, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at her residence. Family hour 10:30AM Friday, July 22, 2022 at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 69 South Astor Street., with Funeral Service commencing immediately at 11:00 AM. Pastor Brian Timberlake, Eulogist; Pastor Al James Terrell, Host Pastor. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 North Perry Street., Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 North Perry Street. Family and Friends will assemble 10:30AM at the Church. Mrs. Mosley will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 North Perry Street, and may be viewed from 12:00PM - 6:00PM Thursday.
Mrs. Mosley leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Eddie Mosley; children, Jeffrey Mosley, Gloria Mosley, Tony (Angela) Mosley, Marinda (Kenneth) Holt, Sherrilynn “Lynn” Calhoun and Rickey Mosley, Sr.; thirty-five grandchildren; eighty-two great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sister, Ella Mae Green and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Mosley was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Alicia Mosley and Louis Mosley; great-grandchildren, Trust Rutherford, Paris Mosley and Ja’Ques Dixson; parents, Essie Havis and Jeremiah Baker; step-father, Jessie Havis; sisters, Ozera Faulks and Perry Staten; brother, Jessie Havis, Jr.; brother-in-law, Willie Mosley, Jr.; and father and mother-in-law, Annie and Willie Mosley, Sr.
