Amelia Francile "Fran" Switalski, age 80, of South Bend, IN passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Creekside Village in Mishawaka, IN. Fran was born on September 1, 1943 in South Bend to Harley and Martha Faye Andrews. She married Michael Switalski on October 29, 1961 at the Apostolic Temple Church in South Bend, IN, he preceded her in death on January 1, 2022.
Fran was a member at the Apostolic Temple Church in South Bend. She retired from Memorial Health Care. She loved spending time with his friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
Fran is survived by her children Manette (James) Donlon of Niles, MI. and Mike "Jeep" (Laura) Switalski of Osceola, IN; grandchildren Brittany Switalski, Bryan Switalski, Dylan McDaniel, Kaley Mihail and Krystal Holcomb; great-grandchildren Ryley McDaniel, Dayton Corbalis, Haisley Corbalis, Mylah Holcomb and Aiden Switalski, nephew Zachary White, nieces Rosalynn White, Ellawyn White and Harley White; her aunts Patricia Sobczak and Gloria Gaunt. Fran is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Bridget Jean Olmstead and brother Harley E. "Corky" Andrews.
Funeral services will be at 11am on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Apostolic Temple Church, 2221 South Ironwood Drive, South Bend, IN 46614 where friends may visit one hour before services at the church. Pastor Chris Rowe will officiate. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola, IN. Memorial donations may made to Apostolic Temple Church.
