Amanda "Euna" Sutton Louthan
July 22, 1941 - February 10, 2022
Amanda "Euna" Sutton Louthan of Sneedville, TN was born July 22, 1941 to Everett and Marie Sutton.
"The most important step in her life was her salvation. She accepted Christ as her savior on April 15, 1953 and became a member of Cedar Flat Missionary Baptist Church on April 25, 1953. She had a love for gospel singing and would occasionally sing at church and in her home. She was a 1960 graduate of Hancock County High School, a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University of Harrogate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education, and a graduate of Union College in Barbourville, KY with a Master Degree in Elementary Education. She was an Elementary School Teacher in Hancock County for 42 years. She retired from teaching May 19, 2007." - Written by Euna Louthan
She was preceded in death by her husband of 19 years, Charles Louthan. Mother and father Marie and Everett Sutton. Brother Wayland Sutton.
Special thanks to all who prayed for, called, visited, and helped her in her time of need. Very special thanks to her great friend of 40 years and caregiver, Shirley Williams. Family will receive friends Tuesday February 15, 2022 from 12:00 until 3:00 PM at Cedar Flat Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday February 15, 2022 at Cedar Flat Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Winkler-Barnard Cemetery.
Officiated by Rev. Randy Kincaid and Rev. Roger Louthan. Serving as pallbearers will be Roger Seal, Jimmy Dean Lawson, Billy Robinson, Adam Williams, Jacob Lawson, and Michael Sutton. Special singing provided by Brenda Bolden.
