Allen Wait

Allen A Wait, 94 years old of Edwardsburg and Union, passed to his rest Dec 25, 2024 at the Timbers of Cass County, Dowagiac. Allen was married May 27, 1950 in Elkhart to Joyce Brooks, and she passed. He is survived by a daughter Shirley (Chester) Critizer of Berrien Springs and a son Robert (Marsha) Wait of Mishawaka. Family who preceded Allen in passing are his parents Hershel and Ethel (Lawver) Wait, his beloved wife Joyce, and his siblings, Julia Kline, Thelma Wait, Maxine Wait, Howard Wait, Harold Wait and James Wait.

Allen was employed in the R.V. Industry assembling the many units he managed in the factory. He enjoyed helping his family and neighbors with anything he could repair for them.

Family and friends my gather for a graveside service at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola on Monday at 11:00 AM, Dec 30, 2024. Officiating will be Pastor Rob Snodgrass of Hope of Edwardsburg. Arrangement by Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, Edwardsburg.
