Allen J. Schneider, age 46, died Sunday, January 26, 2025, at his home in Madison following a battle with liver disease.
There will be a memorial gathering at Trinity Church - United Methodist in Beaver Dam on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:20 p.m. A memorial service will follow at church at 5:30 p.m. with Rev. Eric Taylor officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date.
Allen James Schneider was born on December 23, 1978, in Columbus, Wisconsin to the late Dennis and Rose (Braker) Schneider. After graduating from Dodgeland High School in Juneau in 1997, he went on to earn his associate's degree in Printing and Publishing at Madison Area Technical College. Allen worked at Schumann Printing in Fall River for 16 years. On December 29, 2023, Allen was united in marriage with Mark Strauss in Madison. He enjoyed water skiing and skied for the Beaver Dam Must-Skis for 10 years. Allen was an avid sports fan and enjoyed Badger Basketball, Football, and Volleyball, as well as the Packers. He had a special place in his heart for his dogs, especially his current one, Toby.
His family includes his two daughters, Haylie (Ross) Jeseritz of Beaver Dam and McKennah Schneider (Austin Ramsey); his twin sister, Stephanie (Jacob) Holl of Horicon; his half-sister, Michelle (Larry) Ward; two half-brothers, Chad (Amy) Schneider and Derek (Melissa) Bradley; step-sister, Michelle (Jacob) O'Connor; step-brother, Matt Hawley; four sisters-in-law, Lynn Baker, Gail (Charles) Rogers, Janet (James) Pieper, and Patty (Thomas) Gillingham; his former wife, Amie Steger; and a special friend, Bruce Ley; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Allen was preceded in death by his parents; his husband, Mark; and his brother, Sean.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Allen J. Schneider's name to Agrace Hospice.
The Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is serving the family.
