Allen Booker

Funeral services for Allen Booker, 76, of Marion, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Meridian Baptist Church in Conway, Louisiana. Brother Glyn Nale will officiate and interment will follow at Meridian Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home ~ Farmerville. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Meridian Baptist Church.

Allen was born on June 4, 1946 in Springhill, Louisiana and passed away on June 5, 2022 at his home in Marion, Louisiana. He was a member of Meridian Baptist Church and retired from Century Telephone and was the owner of Bayou Cable. Allen had many hobbies, fishing, restoring cars, attending car shows, riding the back roads with his wife and he was proud of his private pilot’s license. He also had an abundance of love for his dogs and cats. Allen was preceded in death by his mother, Mae Ola West.

Allen is survived by his wife of 41 years, Cathy Bowen Booker; children, Rob Booker and wife Kayla, Aaron Booker and wife Kassie, Brian Booker and wife Susan, Jarod Booker and his significant other Terra; eleven grandchildren, Claudia, Destin, Colby, Zoe, Alli, Ava, Zane, Camryn, Carley, Chandler, Joseph and many other cherished family and friends.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Elara Caring Hospice and to friends and family for their thoughts and prayers.

Pallbearers will be Mark Andrews, Darrel Robinson, Sid Broussard, Greg Miller, Nathan Culpepper, and B.J. Matte. Honorary pallbearers will be Bruce Matte and Larry Jones.
