Allan Stubblefield died peacefully on Friday, October 11th, 2024, at Valleyview Rehabilitation Center in Boise, Idaho.
Allan was born in Nampa, Idaho. He was the third child of Robert V. and Ferne Fenrich Stubblefield. The family moved to Parma, Idaho where he graduated from Parma High School with his high school sweetheart Lois Ford, marrying and starting a family of their own. Allan and Lois raised three beautiful children, Mike, Pat and Sheri. They moved to Boise, Idaho in the '60s where Allan was a jack of all trades, opening his own plumbing business and always dreaming big. In the early 2000s he settled in Idaho City.
Allan loved his family very much and is survived by his son Mike, daughter-in-law Susan, his grandchildren Jessica (Darren), Aaron (Mandy), and Kate (Allen), Allan will always be known as Poppy by his three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert V. Stubblefield, his mother, Ferne (Stubblefield) Cadle, his brothers, Robert Stubblefield and Jim Stubblefield, and his sister Betty Stubblefield Stone. He also was preceded in death by his wife Lois and two of his children, Melvin (Pat) Lowell Stubblefield and Sharilyn (Sheri) Dawn Stubblefield.
The family would like to extend our gratitude to Valleyview Rehabilitation Center's staff who has been like family for these past five years. We appreciate all that you did for Allan. We could not have asked for better care.
He may now be at peace.
There will be a graveside service held in Parma, Idaho at a later date.
Poppy, we will always love you
