Alfred J Gregori
Help us celebrate Alfred! Please share your stories and photos, and invite others who remember Alfred.
Alfred J. Gregori, born in West Pittston, PA, entered eternal life on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. His spirit is carried on by his sons Alfred and Bruce, and his three grandchildren: Liliana, Chase, and Tanner. "Fred" is survived by his wife, Lori, his sister Norma, and an extended family of relations and friends from every walk of life.
We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from our beloved Fred during his 87 years; among them: Choose either popcorn or pretzels, not both. But then eat the other one right after. Maintain your house, your car, and your relationships. Wake up early enough to nudge the rooster, grow tomatoes in summer, peppers in the fall, and patience in winter. Choose Italian cuisine on holidays, and the days in between, except when no one is looking?eat a hotdog. Go fishing with a chicken sandwich in your pocket. Give the chicken sandwich to your homeless friend afterwards. Polish your "windas" and roast your "potadas," and if you don't understand someone's colloquial pronunciations, "listen with an accent." When in the car, enjoy country music because life is a highway. One day you're here, the next day gone. Sometimes you bend, sometimes you stand, and sometimes you make amends and new friends. Teach your grandkids about their parents, teach your children about theirs, and remember some stories are worth repeating.
And best of all be fruitful in every way. Even plant a lemon tree, so one day your ashes can be scattered beneath it.
