Fidler Frame Funeral Home
81, of Campbells Creek passed away on August 13, 2024, at the Clarksburg VA Nursing Facility. He is retired from Mountaineer Gas and is an Army Veteran having served in Vietnam. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at his camp in Greenbrier County.
He is preceded in death by parents Alfred and Mary Blake as well as brothers Wayne and Larry Blake.
He is survived by wife Cleta Blake; daughters Karen (Larry) Linville of Belle, Jessica (Greg) Brisendine of Wexford, PA; sons Jonathan (Amy) Blake of Temple, GA, Jason Blake of Charleston. Surviving sisters are Judy Ranson and Jean Comer of Cross Lanes, and Debra McCarty of Canton, OH. Grandchildren are Michael and Paige Linville; Kaylee, Kendra, Ayden, and Bryce Blake; Sophia and Nolan Brisendine. Great grandchild is Willow Linville.
The funeral service will take place at Fidler and Frame Funeral Home, Belle, at 12:30 P.M. on Monday, August 19, 2024, with Pastor Mike Long officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar.
