Douglas A. Fiery
Alexander Theodore Hertel, 71, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at the Meritus Medical Center.
Born Friday, September 25, 1953, in Middleburg, MD, he was the son of the late Richard Hartle and the late Myrtle (Leckron) Hartle.
Alex graduated from North Hagerstown High School in 1971. He always had a quest for knowledge and lived by religious principals.
He is survived by his son, Jeff Hartle; and brothers, Dan and Barry Hartle.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Roland Hartle.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 1:00 pm, at the Beautiful View Cemetery, Rt. 11 State Line, PA.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD.
