Alexander Mols Fraser passed away at his home in Dallas, TX on February 13, 2019. Born on February 18, 1964, he was the oldest of three children of Lawrence (Jack) and Brenda Mols Fraser, who both predeceased him. A graduate of Monroe High School '81, he will be buried alongside his mother, Brenda, in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Alex attended Hamilton College '85 where he earned a B.A. in Government and was a member of the Psi Upsilon fraternity. Alex later earned a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) from Columbia '90 and started a 23-year career at Standard & Poor's. Alex is survived by his two children, Archibald and Fiona Fraser; his siblings, Andrew and Christina Fraser; step-siblings, Annika and Will Bentley; former wife, Nancy McDermott; step-mother, Kathleen Fraser; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. A funeral mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Rochester on Saturday, May 18 at 10 AM, all are invited. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be sent to Groundwork Dallas, the environmental nonprofit Alex was a part of.
