Mr. Alexander John DeCelles, age 30, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 30th, 2021 at his home in Lowell, MA. Alex was born to Daniel DeCelles and Pamela Fahey in Pittsfield, MA on July 12th, 1991. He graduated from Wahconah High School with the class of 2009, then attended classes at the University of Massachusetts: Lowell.
Alex worked for several different agencies across Berkshire County that serve disabled and abused individuals. He enjoyed helping people and cared a great deal about his clients.
He loved rap music, and he was a huge sports fan - especially when it came to watching the Los Angeles Lakers and, more specifically, LeBron James. Above all else, Alex cherished the time he spent with his son, Chase.
Those who knew him best remember him as sweet, generous, and charming. "You could see the beauty of his soul through the twinkle in his eye." He accepted all people for who they were, and just wanted everyone to be treated fairly. Alex will always be loved, and we miss him very much.
Besides his parents and his son, Alex is survived by his brothers, Daniel DeCelles II and Nick Lewis; his niece, Brooklynn Lewis; and Chase's mother, Candus Young, who was Alex's best friend.
