Alex was born the son of Italian immigrants who came to America in 1923. From and early age he was taught the value of Family and Hard work. Alex enjoyed Music, Travel and spending time with his loving wife, Children and his Grand Children. At the age of 17 he joined the Navy and served our country in WWII in the South Pacific and Asian Theaters.
Upon his return home Alex married the love of his life Norma Jean Risley and they were married until Norma's passing in September of 2011. Both Norma and Alex worked for Mountain Bell Tellephone Company. Norma worked in Administration and Alex worked as a Facility Planning Executive. Both retired after each of them gave more than 30 years of service to the company.
Alex is preceded in Death by his wife Norma, and is survived by his Daughter, Gale Fehlman, and Son Greg Coren (Jean), and five Grand Children. The family would like to thank all of the wonderful staff at the Fountains of Hilltop and HopeWest for the amazing care that Alex received especially in his last days. No services are planned at this time.
