CAMERO, Aleida Huerta, 100, of Tampa, passed away on December 23, 2021. She was born on September 13, 1921, in Tampa, FL, and resided in Tampa her entire life. She was a lifelong member of Centro Asturiano de Tampa. Aleida cherished her family and many friends she met throughout her life. She had a heart of gold and was always available and willing to help others. She was also known for her award-winning bread pudding. She will be missed by many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ysidro and Aurelia Huerta; brother, Armando Huerta; husband, Arturo Camero; and daughter, Aida Calderoni and husband Pat. Aleida is survived by her son, Arthur Camero (Martha) of Houston, TX; grandchildren: Alan Garcia (Angie), Albert Garcia (Elena), Anita Arredondo (Tony), Kathryn Camero, and Mark Camero; 7 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Boza and Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N. Armenia Ave. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 am on Friday, January 7, 2022, with a funeral service starting at 11:00 am. A funeral procession to Centro Asturiano Memorial Park Cemetery at 5400 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. will then follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Aleida's memory to the March of Dimes Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
