Mrs. Aleene "Ge" Corley Livingston, 92, of Anderson, SC and a former resident of Aiken, SC, wife of the late John F. "Jack" Livingston, entered into rest in the comfort of her home, on Monday, March 1, 2021, under the care of Hospice of the Upstate.
Born in and a resident of Aiken County, SC, until ten years ago, she was a daughter of the late Everett Corley and the late Annie Branch Pritchard. She was a homemaker and was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Aiken. "Ge" as she was affectionately known, was an avid Braves fan and enjoyed reading, sewing and of course, discussing politics. More than anything however, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, to whom she was devoted.
In addition to her husband and parents, family members include her children, Anne Livingston Pitts and her husband, Wade, Anderson, SC and John F. Livingston, a sister, Betty Norris, North Augusta, SC; grandchildren, Jim Pitts and his wife, Katie Simpsonville, SC and John Pitts, Anderson, SC; great-grandchildren, Drew and Maggie Pitts and nephews and their spouses, Kenneth and Teri Norris, Lexington, SC and Keith and Christine Norris, North Augusta, SC.
A private graveside service will be held in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC.
It has been requested that memorials be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd. Anderson, SC 29621 or the Thornwell Home for Children, 302 S. Broad St. Clinton, SC 29325.
