Alden August Lowack 78 of Old Glory passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 in Abilene. Visitation will be Sunday from 6-7 p.m. at Kinney-Underwood Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held Tuesday April 13, 2021 at 10 a.m. in the Old Glory Cemetery with Pastor Paul Cannon officiating.
Alden was born February 17, 1943 in Haskell County. He is the son of the late Ernest and Corene (Teichelman) Lowack. Alden lived in Stonewall and Haskell Counties all his life. He was a graduate of Old Glory High School, and a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Sagerton. He married Janis McMeans May 28, 1966 in Sagerton. Alden enjoyed his family, visiting with friends, dancing, riding the dune buggy, tending to his cattle and driving the tractor.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law Charles Diers.
He is survived by his wife Janis Lowack of Old Glory, sons Bobby and wife Kim Lowack of Old Glory and Ricky Lowack of Old Glory; Three grandchildren Kade and wife Sara Lowack of Aspermont, Kelly Lowack of Old Glory, Raelea Lowack of Haskell; one great granddaughter Logan Lowack of Aspermont; one sister Helen Diers of Old Glory.
