Albert Villa 85 years old of Santa Paula California was Born on December 26, 1936 to Asunci?n Villa from the city of Santa Paula and Passed on October 2, 2022 with his Family by his side.
Albert is a Santa Paula High Alumni class of 1959. During the time of being a Senior attending Santa Paula High there was talk of war, young Albert Villa convinced his mother Asunci?n to let him enlist to the United States Army during peace time as a minor to help serve his country. Albert also attended Ventura college. Thereafter Albert Villa married the love of his life Lucy Alcoser from Fillmore California on January 2, 1965. Where soon they began the start of their family. Albert was also dedicated to a 29 year career at Point Mugu Navel Base.
Albert had a love for his family who can never forget how he enjoyed to listen to his favorite radio pastime The KVTA 1590 Morning Show with Tom Spencer and Rich Gualano. Albert enjoyed the morning show so much that he became a regular caller and would give his opinion/ask questions of the current show topic of the day. Albert's voice was so distinct and unique that people would recognize his voice in public. He later became known as Al from Santa Paula from the show. The hosts of the show took a liking to Al and would send him station memorabilia, breakfast invites which made him truly enjoy the entire experience.
Albert had a passion for cars, was an avid coin collector and enjoyed opening his home to his grandchildren, great grandchildren and family members. No one will forget how he created a special moment that will have an everlasting memory of inviting everyone over for a monthly ice cream gathering as a gift from him. Albert will forever be missed in the hearts of his family and all who knew him.
Albert was proceeded in death by his mother Asunci?n Villa, Lucy Alcoser Villa (Beloved Wife), Julie Villa (Beloved Daughter), Ronnie Villa Gonzales (Brother), Annie Salas (Sister)
Albert is survived by his, son Lawrence (Cyndy) Villa, daughters Dolores (Elias) Valenzuela and Ramona (Ernesto) Medrano. Sam Salas (brother in law) Grandchildren: Melissa Valenzuela, Anthony (Julie) Barrios, Ana Garcia, Stephanie (Martin) Alcantar, Ernesto Medrano Jr., Elias Valenzuela IV., Jesse Villa, Julianna Medrano and Matthew Lorenzo Valenzuela. Great Grandchildren: Martin, Ulises, Destiny, Hope, Faith, Layla, Dulce, Grace and Monica. Many nieces, nephews and cousins that he loved very much.
Rosary will be held at 9:30am with a Mass to begin at 10:00am on Thursday, October 13th, 2022 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 427 North Oak Street, Santa Paula California. Interment to follow immediately after at Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery. 380 Cemetery Road Santa Paula
