Albert L. Park, Jr., 90, of Osage City, passed away Friday, December 4, 2020 at Brookside Retirement Community in Overbrook, Kansas.
Albert Lawrence Park, Jr. was born January 21, 1930 in Marysville, Kansas, the son of Albert Lawrence and Xaina (Tuttle) Park, Sr. He graduated from Marysville High School in 1948 and graduated from University of Kansas in 1953 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy.
Al was joined in marriage to Lois Elizabeth Edwards on June 12, 1956 in Lawrence, Kansas. To this union, two children were born, Susan and Sarah.
He owned and operated Park Pharmacy for 31 years.
Al was an active member of the United Methodist Church and Kiwanis, both in Osage City. He was a US Army veteran discharged at the rank of 1st Lieutenant.
He will be forever remembered by his wife, Lois of the home; two daughters, Susan (Larry) Patton of Lawrence and Sarah (Bill) Granger of Overbrook; two grandchildren, John Granger and Rosalie Granger, both of Topeka and two great-grandsons, Ira and Ezra Granger.
Al was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Donald Park.
A private graveside at Osage City Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Osage City United Methodist Church or Kiwanis Club of Osage City Scholarship Fund and sent in care of VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, 107 N.
