Albert "Al" Guerrera passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 30, 2022 surrounded by his much-loved family. He was born on November 30, 1941 in Waterbury, and was son to the late Albert and Barbara (Magnani) Guerrera. He is survived by his wife Jeanne (Cesarello) Guerrera and a daughter Jennifer (Guerrera) Mueller and a son Dan Guerrera, and his four cherished grandsons Zack Mueller, Grant Mueller, Jake Mueller and Max Mueller. He also leaves his brother Anthony and his wife Angie (Quicquaro) Guerrera, Brian and Delores (Cesarello) Sinotte, Lewis Cesarello and Nicholas and Virginia (Rossi) Cesarello along with many nieces and nephews.
Al graduated from Crosby High School and the University of Connecticut. He proudly served four years in the US Army Corps of Engineers and throughout his life devoted himself to the people he loved. In retirement, he enjoyed UConn basketball, traveling with his dear friends, entertaining in his Niantic home, special times with his daughter, son and grandsons, and of course, a daily laugh with Jeanne. Al was a kind and loving person and will be missed every day.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, August 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St Agnes, Church 22 Haigh Avenue, Niantic, CT. Interment will be private in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be sent to The Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org or Tunnel to Towers Foundation at www.t2t.org.
