Albert Darryl Lambert, 75, of Mount Airy, MD, passed away on July 13, 2024.
Albert was the loving husband to Deborah T. Lambert.
Born on November 11, 1948 in Maryland, he was the son to the late James C. and Evelyn V. (Cubitt) Lambert.
Darryl had a fierce and passionate love for his family and friends. He enjoyed a good game of golf in the hottest of weather, driving his Corvette just for the sake of driving, Christmas all year round and anything Steeler related. It had been a special joy of his to share the city of Pittsburgh with his daughters, creating life-long fans. Attending a Steelers game each season became a family tradition. Go Steelers!
Along with his wife Deborah, Albert was survived by his two daughters; Katherine E. Batt, husband, Ryan, Charlotte K. Lambert, sisters; Rebecca Patterson, Pat Zimmerman, brother; Donald Lambert and one granddaughter, Ava Batt.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one brother; James Lambert.
The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, July 17th from 5:00 -7:00 PM at Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road, Barnesville, MD, where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 18th at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Monocacy Cemetery, 19801 West Hunter Road, Beallsville, MD.
