Alan always, always, attempted to do what was right for his family and friends. Alan was a good soul.
Alan Lee Deptula of Cape Coral, Florida passed away at his home, at age 54. Alan was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He attended Elmdale Elementary School, from 1972-1976 and Greenfield High School, Greenfield, Wisconsin from 1978-1982. In his professional life Alan was employed at the former Snug’s restaurant in the Shorecrest Hotel on Milwaukee’s Eastside for many years; Milwaukee Center for Independence; Hands On Staffing, Ft. Myers, Florida; he also established a profitable Labor Ready branch in Sarasota, Florida and ran the Northern New Jersey market before retiring to Cape Coral, Florida to raise his daughter, Angela Rose. Here he obtained his Real Estate License and 215 Insurance licenses. Alan also served in the US Marine Corps. Over his life Alan lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Parsippany, New Jersey and his last years in Cape Coral, Florida with his beloved daughter, Angela Rose. Alan leaves behind to lovingly remember him: his daughter, Angela and her mother, Lorie D. Jones; his sister, Jody ( late Jeffrey) Augustine; his nephew and niece, who he truly adored, Jake & Morgan Augustine; his aunt Shelley (Phillip) Bohochik; his cousin, Bonnie Selky Kobleska. He is also survived by his father and brother, Steven Curtis, of Milwaukee as well as other family members and friends. Alan was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Lee Schein (nee Brubaker) in 2009 and his brother-in-law, Jeffrey R. Augustine, in 2010. Family services were held for Alan. In his life Alan experienced many happy events, chief among them the love of his daughter Angela Rose. And though his life was complicated at times, he always, always, attempted to do what was right for his family and friends. Alan was a good soul.
