Alan Chauncey Case, of Hamilton, VA, died February 22, 2020 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital at the age of 60. Alan was born August 27, 1959 in Alexandria, VA. He was a member of the Hamilton Baptist Church, Izaac Walton League, and Olive Branch Masonic Lodge 114 in Leesburg, VA. He retired after 39 years as a Lineman at Dominion Virginia Power. Alan was predeceased by his father Owen Chauncey Case and his sister Michelle Marie Valentine.
Alan is survived by his wife Joy Lynn Case of Hamilton, VA; son Morgan Chauncey Case of Hamilton, VA; mother Ann Willetts Case of Leesburg, VA; and sister Valerie Ann Case.
Alan was an avid outdoorsman that loved hunting, fishing, hiking and photography. He was a devoted Christian with a passion for service. That passion took him to Tijuana, Ghana and South Dakota. It also had him at church frequently, behind the scenes, serving in many ways.
The family will receive friends at Hamilton Baptist Church on Saturday February 29th from 10-11 a.m. with a memorial service beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
