Aimee Michelle Elbrecht was born in Austin, Texas, on April 19, 1976. Aimee passed away after a brief but courageous battle with cancer on March 20, 2022. Those left to cherish her memory are her parents George and Greta Elbrecht, brother Jordan Elbrecht of Monroeville, Alabama, her significant other, Chris Allen of Henly, Texas, a large family of aunts, uncles and cousins, many friends who loved her and her beloved dog Baby Girl. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Charles and Erlene McNeil of Frisco City and her paternal grandparents Dr. Paul and Marie Elbrecht of Austin, Texas.
Aimee was a graduate of Monroe County High School in Monroeville, Alabama, and Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. After completing her advanced studies at Texas State University, Aimee was General Manager of The Shoal Creek Saloon in downtown Austin. Later she and a partner developed West Henly Boil Shack on 10 acres near Johnson City, Texas. Aimee's work ethic was unparalleled. She loved her partners, employees and patrons.
Aimee never met a stranger and always greeted everyone with her bright smile. Aimee had a kind and generous heart gladly helping others whether a friend, an employee, a stranger or animal on the side of the road.
She will forever be missed!
