Agnes grew up in Belgium at the beginning of WWII, coming to North America in 1947 where she blossomed into a wonderful wife and mother, who spent her time caring for her five daughters. She guided them through the ups and downs of life and spent countless hours on the family farm helping the girls with showing their horses, which they did from spring to fall. Agnes primary passion in life was gardening. Agnes simply loved flowers, she had favorites of course, but any flower would do. All winter long she spent hours pouring through gardening magazines planning her garden, pining for spring, and as soon as the first signs of spring began to appear, she would be out with her spade and wheelbarrow.
