Agnes L. Daury, of Pittsfield, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, at BMC on October 8, 2022. Born in Chester, MA on August 4, 1934, she was the daughter of Chester and Myra Harrington Cameron.
Agnes' family was always her priority, and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was an avid Bingo player and rarely missed a chance to yell BINGO. She loved to play cards with all her children and would never say no to going to the casino or to Keno.
Agnes was married to her husband Raymond for 59 years prior to his passing in 2016. They enjoyed going out to eat, fishing, and spending time with their family and close friends, which always included guitars and a lot of singing. Later in life, Agnes spent a lot of her time at Onota Lake watching the birds and feeding the squirrels. She also loved going to the movies, listening to music, and taking trips to McDonald's, accompanied by one of her favorite people, Emily Tinger.
She is survived by her children, Raymond Tiffany (Woody), Marie Daury, Raymona Griffin, Mitchell Daury (Jackie) and Laura Daury. She leaves behind her 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Agnes was predeceased by her son Mark Daury, her favorite son-in-law Don Griffin (husband of Raymona), and her siblings and parents.
Agnes' children would like to thank the many people that loved and supported her throughout her life, especially in the last few years. It is hard to list every person by name, but a special thank you goes to Emily Tinger, Kalee Hennig, Autumn Steele, Bob, Chuck, and all her friends at Columbia Arms.
