Addie Maxine (Phillips) Jones of Allentown went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 19, 2025. Born and raised in Berrydale, she married John Lewis Jones in 1959 and moved to Allentown. Known for her beautiful flower beds and encouraging smile, she loved life in the country and being a farmer's wife. She never met a stranger and always looked for an opportunity to pray for others and share the love of God.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Lewis Jones, her parents Eli "Bud" and Sadie Phillips of Berrydale, and her bothers Gerald Phillips and Lavon Phillips.
She is survived by her two children Keith Jones of Allentown and Robynn (Keith) Campbell of Chumuckla, three granddaughters Courtney (Zach) Kendrick, Ashleigh (Adam) Bondurant, and Brittney (Mike) Farnsworth, and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving daughter-in-law Stacy Jones of Pace, her precious friend and faithful caregiver Debbie Cooley of Jay, and family friend Steve Jackson of Allentown.
Pallbearers: Todd Watson, Dakota Watson, Danny Arnette, Mike Dozier, Jimmy White, Randall Ashworth, Jared Ashworth, and John Daniel Golden. Honorary Pallbearers: Randy Cooley, Randolph Sutton, Donald Sutton, Larry Sutton, Jimmy Ward and Joe Trawick. Honorary Lady Pallbearers: Barbara Glass, Cindy Metcalf, Merna Richards, Donna Stowers, Patti Neff, Elizabeth Hoyt, Shirley Pridgen, Cindy Cooley, and Jewel Christian.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church, 5405 Calvary Church Rd, Milton, FL 32570, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and service at 12:00 p.m. with Zach Kendrick officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Baptist Church cemetery with Reverend Dustin Lambert officiating.
