ABIE VIGIL Our beloved Abie Vigil 79, from Pecos, NM passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, January19, 2024. He was born on February 21, 1944 in Pecos, NM and is preceded in death by his parents Francisco and Eloisa Vigil, his sisters Julia, Vicky, Ida, Polly, Rosina and brothers Sam, Steve and Albert, compadre Freddie Vigil, and God daughter Tina Jaramillo Piper. Abie is survived by his wife of 57 years of marriage, Angela Vigil and children Christopher and Cynthia Vigil, grandchildren Shane and Michele Vigil, God children Vivian Vigil, Michael Erik Alvarado, Jared Vigil, and brother Eppie Vigil, compadre's Joe Henry Jaramillo, Eddie and Edwina Vigil, Annalee Peterson, Maryann Vigil and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are: Christopher Vigil, Jared Vigil, Frank Vigil, Sandy Vigil, Larry Espinoza, and Jarel Ortiz.
