On September 30, 2021, Aaron Joslin, loving husband, father and son, passed away at IU Methodist Hospital after suffering a stroke that included a severe brain bleed.
Aaron was born October 4, 1971 to Larry and Cecilia (Bloomenstock) Joslin. He married the love of his life, Wendy (Carr) Joslin at Disney World on May 20, 1995. They had been high school sweethearts.
Aaron was a 1989 graduate of Columbus East High School. He attended Indiana State University and IUPUC. He worked full time for his father at Joslin's Custom Wood Products starting in 1991. He and his wife became the owners of Joslin's Cabinet Company in 2011.
Aaron's favorite past time was spending time with his wife and son. He and Alex would play video games for hours, even after Alex moved to Michigan. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching and attending Pacers and Colts games with his family. If you were a true friend of Aaron's you know he loved music, especially Van Halen. We would like to think he and Eddie have started their own band in Heaven.
Survivors include his loving wife, Wendy; son, Alex, and his long-time girlfriend, Allison Moffitt; parents, Larry and Cecilia; siblings, JR and Mark Joslin, and Sherri Duckworth. Also surviving are his nieces, Ava Joslin and Sarah Shaw; nephews, Aiden and Ben Joslin; in-laws, Jon and Sheila Carr; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Additionally, he was very fond of Russ and Ellen Wilson (Wendy's grandparents) and was helping to take care of them.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Maxine and Fred Bloomenstock; Florence Timbrook, and Paul Joslin; nephew Timothy Duckworth; and his favorite cat, Winston.
Aaron's wishes were for cremation with no funeral or celebration of life.
Memorial contributions in his name should be directed to the Indiana Donor Network.
